Every book starts with a quiet idea, and this is where mine gather. Here you’ll find the books I’ve written, the lessons in them, and the thoughts that live between the pages. Take your time, explore, and thank you for stopping by.

Nina Gilberte is a high school mathematics teacher who writes about daily challenges, quiet victories, and the search for peace. Her poetry grows from self-reflection and observation, inspired by moments from her personal walk through life. whether in her orange room, in nature, or in her classroom. Nina believes that everyone faces daily struggles and must find their own path to peace, through quiet moments, creativity, connection, and of course, sitting out in the sun.
She lives in the Verdugo Mountains of Los Angeles with her husband, two cats and visiting often with their three grown children. When not writing, Nina draws, paints, walks, and cooks; often outdoors. Even in life’s gray moments, she reminds readers to keep moving forward, toward light, clarity, and hope that is just around the corner.
